Shubman Gill scored fifty, but was brutally trolled on social media for his slow typing

Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill once again came up with a magnificent half-century opportunity on Tuesday night. Striking against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the MCA Stadium in Pune, the 22-year-old striker smashed 41 balls for his team in a comfortable spot. It was also his 2ndnd the 54th consecutive Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

After first opting for the bat, the Titans began to be problematic. They lost several wickets – Wriddhiman Saha (5) and Matthew Wade (10) in powerplay. Coxswain Hardik Pandya reached the fold, but could not provide the necessary impetus in the innings, which progressed very slowly. (IPL 2022 LSG vs GT live score)

After Pandya fell in 10th Gill took control and tried to speed things up along with David Miller. After displaying 100 movements on the board, the GT opener reached a milestone of 41 deliveries. In fact, he carried his baton and scored an undefeated 63 of 49 deliveries while the Gujarat Titans posted 144 for 4 in 20 overs.

Gill played a patient knock under pressure, but the fans brutally broke in because he played extremely slow innings. Here’s how the fans reacted:

Earlier, GT won the draw and picked the first shot against the Lucknow Super Giants in a clash at the top of the table in the IPL 2022 in Pune. Captain Hardik Pandya said for a change that they want to give a result and try to defend it.

Gujarat has lost its last two matches, but Pandya attributed it to the law of the average. They made three changes in their XI game, all tactical changes, Pandya said. Lockie Ferguson, Sai Sudharshan and Pradeep Sangwan are out and replaced by Matthew Wade, debutant Sai Kishore and Yash Dayal.

LSG has made one change in its playing XI; UP spinner Karan Sharma comes in place of Ravi Bishnoi.
