bengaluru (karnataka) [India]April 25 (ANI): The main likely groups of Indian hockey teams – seniors, seniors, junior women, Indian ‘A’ men and Indian ‘A’ women – have returned to the national coaching camp at the SAI Center in Bengaluru.
While the Indian women’s hockey team continued its camp on Sunday, the Indian men’s team, the junior women’s team, India’s ‘A’ men and India’s ‘A’ women will report on Monday.
After the successful home game of the FIH Pro League 2021/22, the current Indian women’s national team has begun preparations for the last set of Pro League matches, as well as for the 2022 Women’s World Hockey Championship, which is scheduled for June and July, respectively. .

The likely 36-member list includes a mix of experienced players such as Savita, Gurjit Kaur, Deep Grace Ekka, Navjot Kaur, along with young players such as Bichu Devi Kharibam, Ishika Chaudhary, Sharmila Devi, Salima Tete and Lalremsiami, who were part of Fourth place of the Indian junior women’s hockey team at the recently concluded FIH World Junior Hockey Championship in South Africa.

The Senior Men’s Core Probable group includes a mix of veterans such as PR Sreejesh, Amit Rohidas, Manpreet Singh, Harmanpreet Singh and Akashdeep Singh, along with young guns Abhishek, Sukhjeet Singh and Jugraj Singh, who recently debuted for the team. The senior camp ends June 4th.
“We had a good two week break after a hard start to the season with Pro League games. It’s good to finish at the top of the table after home games, but we still have a task when we play with top away teams. The 33-member Core Probable Group will report to coach Erik Wonink at the National Camp.
After a short break, the newly formed Indian ‘A’ women’s and men’s ‘A’ Core groups will also gather at the national coaching camp. The women’s ‘A’ core group and will suit former Indian men’s hockey team striker and double Olympian Deepak Thakur. While the men’s ‘A’ Core Group will report to former Indian men’s hockey team captain Sardar Singh.
