Transfer talk – Arsenal plan to return Serge Gnabry from Bayern Munich

The summer transition period is approaching, and there is a lot of gossip about who is moving where. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest rumors, arrivals and departures and, of course, deals!

TOP STORY: Gnabry returns to Arsenal?

Arsenal follows everything Serge Gnabry while contract negotiations are still stalled between the former Gunners striker and Bayern Munich, writes Ekrem Konur.

Negotiations over a new contract have shown little sign of progress as Gnabry enters the final year of his contract at the Allianz Arena, and Arsenal seem to want to take advantage of that by returning home to the Emirates Stadium.

The 26-year-old left Arsenal in 2016, but has since established himself in the Bundesliga, becoming a regular member of the German national team.

Despite Gnabry not wanting to sign new terms, Bayern still want to keep him, and recent reports suggest they are willing to offer him a salary increase in hopes of not deciding on a new challenge.

He remained a key player for the club this season, appearing in 44 games and scoring 17 goals, and he achieved the best results when he was deployed on the right flank.
